Sapphire reveals Nitro+ Radeon RX 480 video card

Written by techgoth

Sapphire’s hopped onto the rather well-priced Radeon RX 480 bandwagon, with its new Nitro+ video card.

Available in both 4GB and 8GB versions, the card clocks in at 1306 and 1342MHz respectively, and comes with Sapphire’s Dual-X cooling system. This consists of an elegant black shroud and two 95mm fans with dual-ball bearing mounts. These are designed to be detached after removing a single screw, making cleaning easy, and the cooling is further backed up by Sapphire’s Fan Check software.

For those more interested in looks than clocks, the Nitro+ also features RGB LEDs in the shroud, which can be set and altered via Sapphire’s TriXX 3.0 software. There’s also a Nitro Boost switch to boost clock speeds, and the card comes with an 8-pin power connector.
